A pretty slow week, but we have some news directly from Instagram on tips and tricks for Stories, a great report on how much you should charge for brand deals, and a slight change to how hashtags are being used in searches.

More changes to how hashtags work?!

Instagram has "simplified" how hashtag searches work, now removing the Top Posts display that used to show up when you would search content. Currently for me, I've been using hashtags the same way and have been getting MORE hashtag results for my content. Read about the changes here.​

How much should you charge for brand deals?

I get asked this all the time and it's a very valid question! Luckily, this excellent report by Influencer Marketing Hub breaks down the different audience size categories and how much you could be charging to work with brands. The suggestions are very consistent with what I charge as well as other accounts I work with. Read it here.​
