Here are the latest news updates in the world of social media this week.

Is Instagram going to limit us to just 5 hashtags per post?

This news just came about on Tuesday of this week and has had a lot of people buzzing. Some users reported a limit of only 5 hashtags per post for their content when trying to post. You can see it below as shared by user Jenns_trends. News has since been updated that this may have been a glitch, but I wouldn't be surprised if Instagram did follow TikTok's lead and only allow for a small number of hashtags.

App researcher Radu Oncescu found this test that shows Instagram including swipeable image posts (carousels) in the Reels feed.
